For Costco warehouse inventory inside a stock alert, a reseller tool or an AI agent, start with Scavio's Costco API. Its availability endpoint, POST /api/v1/costco/availability, returns one item's in-warehouse stock status at up to 10 warehouses in a single call, and its prices endpoint returns each warehouse's shelf price, promotion and end date next to the online price. Availability costs 1 credit for up to 5 warehouses and 2 for 6 to 10, and Scavio starts from $2 per 1,000 credits on the Growth plan billed yearly.
You need a third-party option because Costco publishes no API. Its customer service page sends members to the app, the membership counter, a phone call or chat, one warehouse at a time, which is why r/CostcoPM threads keep asking how to check in-store inventory in bulk.
We build Scavio, so read this with that bias in mind. Every Scavio number below comes from live calls we made on November 3, 2026. Every competitor detail was read off the vendor's own page or documentation that day, and where a detail was not published we say so. This post is about the store-level job: what one warehouse has and charges right now. For general Costco product data, see our roundup of the best Costco scraper APIs.

A Costco item on the shelf in one warehouse is gone at the next
We asked Scavio for the 10 Costco warehouses nearest downtown Seattle (ZIP 98101), then checked 13 items, from holiday trees to an air fryer and a golf wedge set, at all of them: one availability call per item and three prices calls, all on November 3, 2026.
6 of the 13 items were sold out at one or more of the 9 warehouses while still in stock or low on stock at another. The Ninja Crispi Pro 6-in-1 air fryer was in stock at Tukwila and Lynnwood, low at Seattle, Woodinville and Silverdale, and out at the other 4, at $239.99 on every shelf against $299.99 online. Huggies Pull-Ups Plus were out at 7 warehouses and on the shelf at Silverdale. The 12-foot pre-lit Radiant tree was out at Seattle and Aurora Village, the two nearest the city center, and in stock at the other 7. Across all 117 item-warehouse checks, 70 came back in stock, 13 low and 34 out.
Prices, by contrast, were one shelf price per item across all 9 warehouses, with one exception. A 30-inch LED village advent calendar was $24.99 at Seattle, Tukwila, Redmond and Issaquah, where a $10 promotion ran through November 8, and $34.99 at the other 5, a dollar more than its $33.99 online price. A shopper who checks one warehouse, or a tool that returns one chain-wide stock flag, gets both of those wrong. The tenth warehouse, the Lynnwood Business Center, kept no stock record for 12 of the 13 items, which is what a business center returns for items it does not carry.
1. Scavio: stock and shelf price at up to 10 warehouses per call

Scavio's Costco API is 13 POST endpoints; four of them carry the warehouse-level job. Measured on November 3:
- Warehouses: ZIP 98101 returned the 10 nearest warehouses, from Seattle (
1, 3.18 miles) to Silverdale (13, 16.32 miles), with address, phone, hours and departments, in 1.9 s. 1 credit. - Availability: one item number and up to 10 warehouse ids. Each row carries
in_warehouseand, where Costco reports them, channelssuch assame_day_delivery. Our 13 calls took 2.9 to 10.9 s, median 4.5 s, and each cost 2 credits at 10 warehouses (1 credit for up to 5). A trimmed response for the air fryer:

}- Prices: the online price and, for each warehouse,
price,discount,final_price, the promotion withstart_date,end_dateand limits, and theprice_code. We sent 8 or fewer items per call; at 10 warehouses each call was 2 credits (1 for up to 9) and took 3.5 to 12.0 s. - Search with
warehouse_id: adds that warehouse's shelf price and stock to every result, up to 120 a page, which is how we picked the 13 items. 2 credits on costco.com. For markdowns, the clearance scan returns only .97, .88 and .00 shelf prices at one warehouse for 2 credits.
What it does not do: Costco reports a status, never a unit count, so no API here can tell you how many are on the pallet. Business centers and warehouse-only items can come back no_record. Availability is one item per call, so a 200-item list is 200 calls, and at 6 to 10 warehouses each costs 2 credits. Warehouse data covers costco.com and costco.ca only, and there is no stored history: you build one by calling on a schedule. The benefit is one key and one JSON format for Costco alongside Walmart, Target, Home Depot and Sam's Club, plus an MCP server for agents. How to check Costco warehouse prices and stock by item number walks through the calls step by step.
2. Apify actor: one warehouse per scheduled run

yugenox/costco-scraper covers costco.com and costco.ca by keyword, category, product URL or item number. Its postalCode input picks the nearest warehouse (Seattle 98101 by default in the US), or warehouseId names one, and each product row carries warehousePrice and warehouseAvailability for that warehouse. Its FAQ says to "Run the actor once per postal code or warehouse number" to cover more. It charges from $1.50 per 1,000 products and had 15 users and no ratings on November 3. It is the closest match to the store-level job among the actors we found; choose it for a scheduled export of one warehouse's shelf, and pin the version you test, since each actor is maintained by its author.
3. Unwrangle: catalog search with a pickup filter

Unwrangle sells Costco search, category, product and review APIs at 1 credit a request, on plans from $99 a month for 100,000 credits up to $999 for 2,000,000. Its Costco Search Results API takes an optional store_no, and with it "only products available for pickup at the specified store will be returned." The response has in_stock, is_warehouse_only and the online price, but no per-warehouse stock status or shelf price, so you learn whether an item can be picked up at one store, not what the shelf has. Choose it for high-volume catalog search.
4. OpenWeb Ninja: online search and product detail

OpenWeb Ninja's Real-Time Costco Data API has two endpoints, search and product details, for Costco US and Canada. Both take a delivery_location ZIP or postal code; neither takes a warehouse id or returns a warehouse price. Its agent storefront lists $0.03 per 10 requests ($3 per 1,000) and 50 free requests; the plan prices on its RapidAPI listing were not visible without signing in. Choose it if you only need the online catalog and already buy APIs on RapidAPI.
5. Bright Data Inventory Tracker: a managed service
Bright Data's Costco Inventory Tracker describes stock status by SKU, restock timing, stockout patterns and out-of-stock alerts. It does not say whether stock is broken down by warehouse, lists no inputs such as ZIP or warehouse, and quotes only "Starting from $2000/month" behind a demo. Our screenshot came out blurred behind the page's overlay in two attempts, so we left it out. Choose it if you want a dashboard someone else runs and the budget fits.
6. Oxylabs: raw Costco pages

Oxylabs' Costco Scraper API lists raw HTML as the output for Costco product, search and URL targets, with parsing through its own parser or rules you write. The page does not mention warehouse or ZIP targeting. Prices run from $0.50 per 1,000 results, with plans from $30 a month and $5 of free credit. Choose it if you already run a parsing pipeline and only need the pages fetched.
Pick by the number you need
If your users act on which nearby warehouse has an item and what it costs on the shelf, keeping that table current is the ongoing work, and it is what Scavio's Costco API handles. Checking 200 items daily at the 10 warehouses around one metro is 200 availability calls at 2 credits, about 12,000 credits a month, plus 25 prices calls of 8 items a day for another 1,500: about $27 a month at the Growth-yearly rate of $2 per 1,000 credits. Checking only the 5 nearest warehouses drops each availability call to 1 credit. At 50 warehouses and 200 items daily, the total is about 67,500 credits a month, roughly $135. Billed per product at $1.50 per 1,000, one warehouse per run, the same 10,000 item-warehouse rows a day would be about $450 a month. Try the Costco API free, 50 credits, no card, or try the endpoints in the playground.

Frequently asked questions
Can you check to see if Costco has something in stock?
Yes. Costco's customer service lists the Costco app, the membership counter, calling your warehouse and chat as the ways to check a warehouse, with the item number ready. In code, Scavio's Costco availability endpoint takes the item number and up to 10 warehouse ids and returns each warehouse's status: in_stock, low_stock or out_of_stock.
How often does Costco update inventory?
Costco says the inventory on costco.com is real time and updated frequently, and it publishes no schedule for warehouse stock. Status moves within a day: on November 3, 2026 a Ninja Crispi Pro air fryer was in stock at 2 of 9 Seattle-area warehouses, low at 3 and out at 4. A tracker that matters has to poll each warehouse on its own schedule.
Can you search all Costco warehouses for an item?
Not in one step: Costco's app shows stock for one warehouse at a time to a signed-in member. With an API you list the warehouses near each ZIP code you care about, then check the item in groups of up to 10. Scavio's warehouses endpoint returns 10 warehouse ids for a ZIP in one 1-credit call, and its availability endpoint checks up to 10 of them per call.
Can you check Costco in-warehouse prices online?
Costco.com shows the online price, which often differs from the shelf. On November 3, 2026 a 30-inch LED advent calendar was $33.99 online, $24.99 at the 4 Seattle-area warehouses running a $10 promotion and $34.99 at the other 5. An API that returns each warehouse's shelf price is the way to see it without visiting.
What is the .97 rule at Costco?
Members read a warehouse shelf price ending in .97 as clearance, usually an item the warehouse is phasing out, and .88 or .00 as a manager markdown. Costco does not publish these codes, and they differ by warehouse, so finding them means checking each warehouse's shelf prices rather than the website.
