What is the Scavio Sam's Club API?

It is a REST API that returns public samsclub.com data as structured JSON. Six POST endpoints cover search, product detail with the club shelf price and stock, a club locator, the Instant Savings list, any category including clearance, and customer reviews.
Which club do search, savings and category use?

A nearby club picked by location, returned in the response's club object (club_id, city, state, zipcode). Those three endpoints do not take a club. To price or stock a specific club, call product with club_id: the response echoes it in club.club_id.
How do I get one club's price and stock?

Pass club_id to /api/v1/samsclub/product. club_price is that club's shelf price, in_stock_at_club and aisle are that club's, and fulfillment.options lists pickup, delivery and shipping with availability_status, available_quantity and max_order_quantity.
Why is available_quantity never above 8?

Sam's Club caps the quantity it reports at 8, so 8 means 8 or more. Treat it as a stock signal with a ceiling, not a full unit count.
How do I find a club number?

POST a 5-digit ZIP to /api/v1/samsclub/clubs. It returns up to 20 clubs within 100 miles, nearest first, each with club_id, name, address, coordinates, distance in miles, phone, hours, services and temporarily_closed. ZIP 75201 returned the Dallas, Greenville club, 4925, at 2.57 miles.
How do I get Sam's Club clearance?

Call /api/v1/samsclub/category with category_id 1150109, the clearance category. It returns the same fields as search, paged. Our capture listed 131 clearance items over 3 pages.
What does the Instant Savings endpoint return?

Every item on Sam's Club Instant Savings, 45 per page, with price, was_price and savings_amount, plus instant_savings: the offer's amount, end date, purchase limit and message. Our capture listed 3,453 items over 77 pages.
Does the API return member and order limits?

Yes. Product returns member_limit and order_limit, and each Instant Savings offer carries its own limit. The Marathon dispenser in our capture had a member limit of 10 and an order limit of 12.
Are online and club prices different?

They can be. Product returns price (online), club_price (the club shelf price) and channel_prices, which lists the price for shipping, pickup and delivery separately, each with its own was-price and unit price.
What do Sam's Club reviews include?

10 reviews per page, sorted newest, oldest, highest, lowest or most_helpful, each with rating, title, text, author, date, verified purchase and helpful votes. Every page also carries the average rating, the 1-5 star breakdown, and the top positive and top negative review.
How much does a Sam's Club request cost?
