For Costco data inside an app, a price tracker or an AI agent, start with Scavio's Costco API. It is the one option here that returns in-warehouse shelf prices at up to 10 warehouses per call, warehouse stock status, Costco gas prices, the monthly coupon book and a clearance finder, as well as search, product detail and reviews. A request is 1 credit, and Scavio starts from $2 per 1,000 requests on the Growth plan billed yearly. If you only need the costco.com catalog (search results, product pages, reviews), Unwrangle, OpenWebNinja and Piloterr all sell that. Apify actors suit scheduled batch runs.
We build Scavio, so read this with that bias in mind. Every Scavio number below comes from live calls we made on October 10, 2026. Every competitor detail was read off the vendor's own page or documentation that day, and where a price was not published we left it out.

Costco's shelf price is usually not the website price
Most Costco APIs return the price on costco.com. Members pay the warehouse shelf price, and the two differ more often than they match. We searched "olive oil" with Scavio and added Costco's Manhattan warehouse (1062).
Of the 24 results with both prices, 18 were cheaper in the warehouse, 3 cost more and 3 matched. The median gap was 15.7% below the website. Kirkland Signature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (2 L) was $20.99 online and $15.59 on the shelf. When we priced it across 9 Chicago-area warehouses in one call, it was $15.59 at all 8 that carry it. If your product compares Costco to other retailers or tracks deals, the website price can be the wrong number.
1. Scavio: warehouse prices, stock, gas, coupons and clearance
Scavio's Costco API is 13 POST endpoints on costco.com and costco.ca. Search, product and the warehouse locator also cover six more Costco countries. Measured on October 10:
- Warehouse prices: online vs shelf price, discount, promotion dates and member limits for up to 20 items at up to 10 warehouses. 1 credit (2 at 10 warehouses); our 9-warehouse call took 4.9 s.
- Gas prices: 10 Chicago stations near zip 60601 in one 1-credit call. Regular ran from $4.469 to $5.199.
- Coupon book: the current book as rows, 203 offers valid September 21 to October 18, 1 credit.
- Clearance: scanning "tv" at one Chicago warehouse found a TCL 75-inch QLED at $479.97 on the shelf, a .97 clearance code, against $579.99 online.
- Product detail: 20 items per 1-credit call, about $0.10 per 1,000 items on Growth billed yearly.
What it does not do: there is no UPC or barcode lookup, and stock is a status, not a unit count. Clearance covers only items Costco lists online. Median response time across our 10 calls was 4.1 seconds, so it suits per-request lookups, not bulk catalog dumps. The benefit is one key and one JSON format for Costco alongside Walmart, Target, Amazon and Google, plus an MCP server for agents.
2. Unwrangle: catalog search and reviews on a subscription
Unwrangle sells four Costco APIs: search results, category search, product data and product reviews, with one credit per request. Its platform page lists plans from $99 a month for 100,000 credits. At volume, that makes it cheap per search request; its docs note that category search costs more credits per call. Choose it for high-volume catalog and review collection.
3. OpenWebNinja: search and product detail via RapidAPI
OpenWebNinja's Real-Time Costco Data API covers product search and product details for Costco US and Canada, sold through RapidAPI and directly. It is a good fit if your team already buys APIs on RapidAPI and only needs the online catalog.
4. Piloterr: product pages across regional sites
Piloterr's Costco Product API returns product page data from Costco's regional sites, given a product ID or URL. It currently ranks first for "best costco scraper api". Choose it for product pages outside the US, where Scavio covers search and product but not warehouse prices.
5. Bright Data: bulk records
Bright Data offers a Costco reviews scraper and a Costco scraper API, with 5,000 free records a month. Choose it when the deliverable is a large file of records rather than an answer inside a request.
6. Apify actors: scheduled batch runs
Apify lists many community Costco actors. The most complete one we found, yugenox/costco-scraper, covers costco.com and costco.ca from $1.50 per 1,000 products. It returns warehouse price and stock for the warehouse nearest a postal code, and a warehouse list. Each actor is maintained by its author, so pin the one you test.
General scraper APIs such as Oxylabs, ScrapingBee and ScraperAPI also publish Costco guides. They hand you a page to parse rather than a Costco-shaped response.
Pick by the number you need
If your users act on what Costco charges in the warehouse, nearby gas, this month's coupons or .97 markdowns, keeping that data current across warehouses is the ongoing work, and it is what Scavio's Costco API handles. A prices call covers up to 20 items at up to 9 warehouses for 1 credit. Tracking 1,000 items across 9 warehouses every day therefore takes 50 calls a day, about 1,500 credits a month. That is $3 at the Growth-yearly rate of $2 per 1,000 credits, and it fits inside the $30 Project plan's 7,000 monthly credits. Get 50 free credits, no card, or try the endpoints in the playground.

Frequently asked questions
Does Costco have a public API?
No. Costco publishes no public API for product, price or inventory data. Third-party APIs fill the gap: Scavio's Costco API returns product search, warehouse prices, stock status, gas prices, the coupon book and clearance items as JSON, and vendors such as Unwrangle, OpenWebNinja and Piloterr cover catalog search, product pages and reviews.
Can an API get Costco in-warehouse prices?
Yes. Costco's warehouse shelf price often differs from costco.com. Scavio's prices endpoint returns both, at up to 10 warehouses in one call, and in our October 2026 test 18 of the 24 results for an "olive oil" search were cheaper at a Manhattan warehouse than online. One Apify actor also returns the price at the single warehouse nearest a postal code.
Is there a Costco inventory checker API?
Costco reports a stock status per warehouse, not a unit count, so any API can only return that status. Scavio's availability endpoint returns in_stock, low_stock, out_of_stock or not_available for up to 10 warehouses, plus pickup and same-day delivery status.
What is the cheapest way to get Costco product data?
For high-volume catalog search, a subscription such as Unwrangle's ($99 a month for 100,000 credits) is cheap per request. For product detail, Scavio's product endpoint takes 20 items per 1-credit call, about $0.10 per 1,000 items on its Growth plan billed yearly.
