How to Check Costco Warehouse Prices and Stock by Item Number

To check a Costco item's warehouse price and stock in code, send its item number and the warehouse ids to Scavio's Costco API. POST /api/v1/costco/prices returns the costco.com price next to the shelf price at up to 10 warehouses. POST /api/v1/costco/availability returns each warehouse's stock status. Each costs 1 credit for most requests. Costco itself has no public API, and its app shows one warehouse at a time to a signed-in member.

This is the question that keeps coming up in r/CostcoPM: "Has anyone figured out a URL for checking prices / in stock at a warehouse? ... where you'd put in the SKU and warehouse number?" Here is the working version.

Step 1: find the warehouse ids

For downtown Chicago this returned 10 warehouses in 1.2 seconds, from Chicago South Loop (1107, 2.8 miles) to Orland Park (647, 23.2 miles).

Step 2: price the item at every warehouse in one call

On October 10, 2026, Kirkland Signature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (2 L, item 692731) was $20.99 on costco.com and $15.59 at all 8 warehouses that carry it. The ninth, a Business Center, returned no shelf price. That was one request, 1 credit, 4.9 seconds. Each warehouse row also carries the discount, promotion dates, per-member limits and the price code.

The gap is the norm, not an exception. Across 24 "olive oil" results priced at Costco's Manhattan warehouse, 18 were cheaper on the shelf, 3 were dearer and 3 matched, with a median gap of 15.7% below the website.

Step 3: check stock before anyone drives there

Sent to /api/v1/costco/availability, this returned in_stock at all five warehouses. The call cost 1 credit, because availability is billed at 1 credit per 5 warehouses. Costco reports a status (in_stock, low_stock, out_of_stock, not_available), never a unit count, so no API can tell you how many are on the pallet.
