Nordstrom Rack API

Nordstrom Rack does not publish a self-serve developer API for its catalog, prices or reviews. The Scavio Nordstrom Rack API fills that gap with 8 POST endpoints that return nordstromrack.com (US) data as structured JSON: search, category (including clearance and flash events), brand, product detail, reviews, Rack store-pickup availability, a store locator and search suggestions.

No. Nordstrom Rack is a separate site with its own catalog, prices, clearance and reviews, so it has its own endpoints under /api/v1/nordstromrack. The Nordstrom API (/api/v1/nordstrom) reads nordstrom.com. The request and response shapes match, so the same code works on both, and both run on one Scavio key at the same credits.

Yes. During Clear the Rack, clearance items carry promotion_price_range and promotion_percent_off next to clearance_price_range. In our capture of Women's Clearance, a MAX STUDIO dress had a $168 compare-at, a clearance price of $10.49 to $22.73, and promotion_percent_off 25, bringing it to $7.86 to $17.04. Read it per item: one earring set on the same page stayed at its clearance price with no promotion.

No. No response carries a promotion's start or end date, so the API cannot predict a sale. It shows a live one: poll /clearance with /api/v1/nordstromrack/category, and when clearance items start carrying promotion_percent_off, the extra off is running. When it ends, the promotion fields go back to null.

Call /api/v1/nordstromrack/category with category /clearance (or a department such as /clearance/women/clothing) and sort percent_off on a schedule, store each style's price, clearance_price_range, promotion_price_range and badges such as new_markdown, and diff day to day. Women's Clearance held 4,256 products over 178 pages in our capture; split by department to cover more than 100 pages.

Yes. /shop/flash lists the live flash events as subcategories, with no products of its own. Pass an event's path, such as /shop/flash/event-7, as category to get its products; the event's featured products come first on page one, then the rest.

Yes. Rack keeps its own review pool. The same ASTR the Label Maeve Midi Dress had 129 reviews on Rack averaging 4.07, against 216 on nordstrom.com. The Rack pool includes reviews first posted elsewhere, and syndicated_from names the site: 15 of the 18 Rack reviews in our capture came from nordstrom.com. Search, product and reviews on Rack return Rack's ratings.

Yes. /api/v1/nordstromrack/availability returns, for every size and color, whether it can be picked up, the pickup quantity across the Rack chain and each Rack store that offers in-store pickup, with address and phone. The site says yes or no per store, not how many. The Maeve Midi Dress could be picked up at 71 Rack stores; Small in PINK had nothing to ship but 2 stores could hand it over. It costs 10 credits.

Yes. /api/v1/nordstromrack/stores finds Rack stores near a ZIP code or coordinates within up to 100 miles, or by store number, with address, phone, weekly and holiday hours, the next 8 days' opening times, pickup and curbside flags, and services. ZIP 10001 returned 9 Rack stores within 25 miles. Nordstrom full-line stores are not included.

Yes. Product returns every size of every color as a sku with sku_id, size, size_type, color, upc, price, original_price (the compare-at price), percent_off, price_type (regular, clearance or promotion), in_stock, quantity and is_final_sale. The UPC lets you match a Rack sku to nordstrom.com and other retailers.

It is the compare-at price Rack strikes through, and percent_off is measured against it. The Devin maxi dress was $54.97 against a $138 compare-at, 60% off, at Rack's regular price. clearance_price_range and promotion_price_range are separate fields, filled only when the item is on clearance or a promotion runs.

Yes. Pass the brand page path, such as /brands/adidas, or a Rack product's brand_url to /api/v1/nordstromrack/brand. Rack brand paths have no id: the nordstrom.com form /brands/<name>--<id> is a 404 here. adidas had 1,319 products on Rack in our capture.

Longer than the other calls: 15 to 60 seconds, up to about 100 at max_reviews 200 (18 reviews took 13.5 seconds in our capture). Set a client timeout of at least 120 seconds; the Scavio SDKs default to 150 for reviews. Upstream checks sometimes fail; the API retries automatically, and a call that still fails is a 502 that is not charged. When too many review calls are running, it returns a 503 with Retry-After, also not charged.

5 credits per successful call, except availability at 10, because it reads the product page and then looks up the pickup stores, and reviews at 10. An unknown product, category or brand (404) or a temporary outage (502) is not charged. New accounts get 50 free credits on signup, one time, with no card required: 10 Nordstrom Rack calls at 5 credits. Paid plans start at $15 per month for 3,000 credits.

Every request fetches live from nordstromrack.com at the moment you call it, and nothing is cached. Each response carries fetched_at. In our captures, suggestions took 0.9 seconds, stores 1.7, product 2.0, the clearance category 2.3, search 4.8, availability 12.8, reviews 13.5 and the adidas brand page 19.5. Set a client timeout of 120 seconds.

Every endpoint is a plain HTTPS POST with a JSON body, so any language works. Scavio also ships Python and JavaScript SDKs, a remote MCP server at mcp.scavio.dev for AI agents, and an n8n community node, all on the same API key.

Scavio returns publicly available nordstromrack.com data and does not sign in to customer accounts or read order history. You remain responsible for how you use the data, including compliance with Nordstrom Rack's terms. Talk to your own counsel for your specific use case.
