For Trustpilot data inside an app, an agency workflow or an AI agent, start with Scavio's Trustpilot API. It returns filtered reviews, full business profiles with reply rate and claimed status, and business search with published emails and phones, at 2 credits per call, about $0.20 per 1,000 reviews on the Growth plan billed yearly. If you only need the cheapest reviews and 200 per business is enough, DataForSEO is the lowest price per review. For large files delivered to storage, Bright Data and Apify actors fit better.
We build Scavio, so read this with that bias in mind. Every Scavio number below comes from live calls we made on October 10, 2026. Every competitor detail was read off the vendor's own page that day, and where a price or claim was not published or not checkable, we left it out.

Why most Trustpilot tools stop at 200 reviews
Trustpilot's public pages serve 20 reviews per page, 10 pages per filter combination. DataForSEO documents this as a 200-review maximum depth, introduced October 23, 2025. Scavio documents the same 200 per filter combination and returns total_filtered with every page, so you always know how much of a slice you received.
The way around it is slicing. Each star rating, each language and each text search is a separate combination. Here is how far that reaches for Hostinger, a business with 73,018 reviews in 71 languages:
- The 200 newest 1-star English reviews (of 3,788) go back 56 days.
- Adding the text search "refund" to that slice (593 matches) reaches back about 14 months.
- All star-by-language slices together cap out at 7,613 reviews, about 10% of the total.
So slicing turns 200 into thousands for a big brand, not into everything. For smaller businesses it is usually everything: in a 250-business sample, 69% had 200 reviews or fewer. Our step-by-step export guide has the script.
1. Scavio: reviews, profiles and lead data in one API
Scavio's Trustpilot API is 6 POST endpoints, 2 credits each. Measured on October 10:
- Reviews: 20 per call, filtered by stars, language, date range, topic, text search, verified-only and with-replies. One
last30dayscall counted 944 new Hostinger reviews, so review velocity costs one request. - Business profile: TrustScore, rating distribution, review counts per language, claimed status, verification, consumer alerts, Trustpilot's AI summary and topics, and reply behavior. Hostinger answered 1,585 of 1,606 negative reviews, in 0.73 days on average.
- Business search: up to 100 businesses per call. A search for "roofing" returned 100 rows, 71 with both a published email and phone, and 22 rated businesses with a TrustScore under 3.5. That is $0.04 per 1,000 businesses on Growth billed yearly.
- Category rankings: businesses in a category by country, sortable by relevance, review count or latest review, with a claimed-only filter and a minimum star rating.
What that adds up to for a reputation or CX agency: one category call listed 20 US roofing contractors, and one profile call on a low-rated name showed a TrustScore of 1.9, an unclaimed profile and 0 replies to 25 negative reviews. That is a qualified prospect in two requests, for 4 credits.
What it does not do: no full review history past 200 per slice, no TrustScore history (store profile snapshots yourself), and email or phone only when the business published them. The search country setting favors that country but is not strict: 31 of our 100 "roofing" rows had addresses elsewhere, so filter on address.country_code. Median response time across our 8 calls was 3.1 seconds. The benefit is one key and one JSON envelope for Trustpilot alongside Google Maps reviews, Yelp, G2, Capterra and Tripadvisor, plus an MCP server for agents.
2. Trustpilot's official API: for your own reviews
Trustpilot's APIs cover business units, service and product reviews, invitations and deletions. Per Trustpilot's help center, access requires an Enterprise plan or a Premium plan with the API module add-on, and the private APIs use OAuth. Its public Business Units API looks businesses up. Broad access to other businesses' review data is sold separately through Trustpilot's Data Solutions program. If the profile is yours, this is the right tool; for competitors and prospects, it is not designed for that.
3. DataForSEO: cheapest per review, 200 per business
DataForSEO's Trustpilot Reviews API is priced at $0.00075 per 20 reviews in the standard queue (turnaround up to 45 minutes, $37.50 per million) and $0.0015 per 20 in the priority queue (up to 1 minute). Since October 23, 2025, its maximum depth is 200 reviews. Choose it when you need the newest 200 reviews for many businesses at the lowest price and can wait for a queue.
4. Bright Data: record files at scale
Bright Data's Trustpilot Scraper API takes company URLs, up to 5,000 per call, and delivers company and review records as JSON, NDJSON or CSV to a webhook or cloud storage. It lists 5,000 free records a month, $1.50 per 1,000 records pay-as-you-go, and a $499 Scale plan that includes 384,000 records. Choose it when the deliverable is a dataset rather than a response inside a request.
5. Apify actors: many options, including full-history claims
Apify lists dozens of community Trustpilot actors. The most used, memo23/trustpilot-scraper-ppe, shows 682 monthly users, starts from $0.50 per 1,000 results, and advertises every review past the 200 cap with star, language, date and verified filters. We have not tested that claim. Other actors focus on lead lists, such as company search with contact details. Each actor is maintained by its author, so pin the one you test.
6. Outscraper: review exports from a business list
Outscraper sells a Trustpilot Reviews API and scraper, and ranks on the first page for "trustpilot api". Its listing says it fetches "any number of reviews from any company on Trustpilot". Its pages blocked our reader, so we could not confirm pricing or limits; check the vendor directly.
For one-off exports without code, Chrome extensions and exportcomments.com download a page of reviews to CSV.
Pick by the job
If you need the newest reviews for thousands of businesses as cheaply as possible, DataForSEO wins on price. If you need a file of records in a bucket, Bright Data or an Apify actor fits. If your product or agency acts on Trustpilot data, such as negative reviews by topic, reply rates, unclaimed profiles or published contact details, keeping that pipeline running is the ongoing work, and that is what Scavio's Trustpilot API handles. Monitoring 500 businesses' profiles weekly is about 2,170 calls a month, 4,330 credits: under $9 at the Growth-yearly rate, and inside the $30 Project plan's 7,000 credits. Frequently asked questions
Does Trustpilot have a public API?
Trustpilot has official APIs, but they are built for a business to manage its own reviews, and per Trustpilot's help center they need an Enterprise plan or a Premium plan with the API module add-on. Broad data on other businesses is licensed separately. Third-party APIs such as Scavio, DataForSEO, Bright Data and Apify actors return public Trustpilot data for any business.
Which Trustpilot API is cheapest?
Per review, DataForSEO's standard queue is cheapest at $0.00075 per 20 reviews, but it caps depth at 200 reviews per business. Scavio costs about $0.20 per 1,000 reviews on its Growth plan billed yearly with star, language, date and text filters, and Bright Data lists $1.50 per 1,000 records pay-as-you-go.
Can any API get more than 200 Trustpilot reviews?
Trustpilot serves 200 reviews per filter combination on its public pages. Scavio reaches further by slicing on star rating, language and text search. Some Apify actors advertise full review history past 200; we have not tested those claims.
Can I get business emails from Trustpilot?
Only the ones businesses publish on their profiles. Scavio's search returns up to 100 businesses per call with any published email and phone; in a 100-row search for roofing businesses in October 2026, 71 rows had both.
