To get Booking.com hotel prices programmatically, use Scavio's Booking.com API. POST /api/v1/booking/search with a destination and stay dates returns the city's properties priced for that stay (up to 25 per page, with review score, stars and cancellation terms); /api/v1/booking/hotel returns every room's rate plans with taxes itemised; and /api/v1/booking/reviews returns the score breakdown and the latest guest reviews. Each call costs 1 credit, about $0.002 on the Growth plan billed yearly, and needs no Booking.com partner account.
Booking.com's own Demand API is reserved for Managed Affiliate Partners under a signed contract, and its Guest Review API is for properties reading their own reviews, so neither is a route for reading the market. Everything below was captured from the live API on October 27, 2026.
Step 1: Search a destination for a stay
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/booking/search \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"destination": "New York", "checkin": "2027-01-12", "checkout": "2027-01-13", "adults": 2, "currency": "USD", "min_review_score": "8", "sort_by": "price_low"}'This returned 25 properties from 321 matches, cheapest first, with the stay echoed back: checkin 2027-01-12, nights 1, adults 2, currency USD, dest_id 20088325 and applied_filters ["review_score=80"]. One row, as captured (image URLs and empty fields trimmed):
{
"pos": 3,
"hotel_id": 48356,
"name": "Hotel Mimosa",
"url": "https://www.booking.com/hotel/us/mayor.html",
"district": "Lower Manhattan",
"address": "79 Division Street",
"star_rating": 3,
"review_score": 8.5,
"review_score_word": "Very Good",
"review_count": 1105,
"price": 112.03,
"price_formatted": "US$112.03",
"currency": "USD",
"charges_info": "+US$20 taxes",
"room_name": "Superior Queen Room",
"free_cancellation": true,
"free_cancellation_until": "2027-01-10T05:00:00Z",
"is_sold_out": false,
"sponsored": false
}charges_info tells you this price is before tax, sponsored lets you drop paid placements from a ranking, and page fetches the next 25. min_price and max_price filter per night, and stars, free_cancellation and breakfast_included narrow the set further. Send checkin and checkout together: Booking ignores a lone check-in date and prices dates of its own choosing.
Step 2: Get a hotel's rate plans with taxes
Pass the url from a search row, with the same stay:
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/booking/hotel \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"hotel": "https://www.booking.com/hotel/us/edison-triumph-group.html", "checkin": "2027-01-12", "checkout": "2027-01-13", "adults": 2, "currency": "USD"}'For Hotel Edison Times Square this returned 22 room types and 30 rate offers in 3.3 s, plus facilities, house rules, fine print, meal options and 80 images. The first room's two offers, as captured (per-night fields trimmed):
{
"name": "Signature 1 Queen Bed",
"size_m2": 20.9,
"max_persons": 2,
"offers": [
{
"price": 158.26,
"price_with_charges": 185.1,
"excluded_charges_total": 26.84,
"cancellation_type": "non_refundable",
"meal_plan": "breakfast",
"excluded_charges": [
{ "name": "14.75 % TAX", "type": "TAX", "amount": 23.34 },
{ "name": "City tax", "type": "City tax", "amount": 3.5 }
]
},
{
"price": 166.01,
"price_with_charges": 194,
"excluded_charges_total": 27.99,
"cancellation_type": "free_cancellation",
"meal_plan": "breakfast"
}
]
}Free cancellation cost $8.90 more here, all in. Compare hotels on price_with_charges, not price: some properties show taxes included and some do not, and our search call priced The Mayfair at $258.63 for November 10 while its hotel call added $37.43 of taxes, $296.06 in all.
Step 3: Price the same hotel across dates
A rate calendar is the same hotel call with different dates. We ran it for six New York hotels on five one-night stays, 30 calls in all:
| Hotel (2 adults, all-in) | Tue Nov 10 | Sat Nov 14 | Thu Nov 26 | Thu Dec 31 | Tue Jan 12 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hotel Edison Times Square | $408.81 | $937.58 | $785.19 | $942.45 | $185.10 |
| The Mayfair Times Square | $296.06 | $422.28 | $399.33 | $720.63 | $158.35 |
| Pod Times Square | $319.41 | $456.76 | $560.04 | $697.39 | $158.30 |
| Riu Plaza Times Square | $524.75 | sold out | $709.24 | $958.29 | $248.02 |
| The Cloud One New York-Downtown | $585.05 | $449.30 | $353.72 | $576.22 | $261.04 |
| DoubleTree Times Square West | $379.98 | sold out | sold out | sold out | $207.36 |
A sold-out night comes back with is_sold_out: true, a null price_from and room types with no offers, which is a data point in itself. The chart and what it means for rate shopping are in the best Booking.com hotel price APIs.
Step 4: Read the guest reviews
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/booking/reviews \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"hotel": "https://www.booking.com/hotel/us/pod-times-square.html"}'The response, as captured and trimmed to the first entries of each list:
{
"hotel_id": 2377260,
"name": "Pod Times Square",
"score": 8.6,
"total_count": 16439,
"count": 10,
"subscores": [
{ "name": "hotel_location", "label": "Location", "score": 9.5, "review_count": 16175 },
{ "name": "hotel_value", "label": "Value for money", "score": 8.4, "review_count": 16180 }
],
"summary": {
"review_count": 2853,
"cons": [
{
"text": "Value For Money: Affordable rates for the area, though some guests report hidden fees and high deposits.",
"mentions": 832,
"sentiment": "MIXED"
}
]
},
"reviews": [
{
"title": "Confortable and great price",
"positive": "It has a great location and is close to so many things",
"negative": "There was a lot of construction going on the area which I know is not their fault",
"score": 10,
"reviewed_at": "2026-10-27T01:02:43.000Z",
"guest_country": "us",
"customer_type": "YOUNG_COUPLE",
"trip_purpose": "LEISURE",
"room_name": "Full Pod"
}
]
}Booking asks guests what they liked and what they did not as separate questions, so positive and negative arrive pre-split, which is better input for sentiment analysis than one blended paragraph. subscores covers staff, facilities, cleanliness, comfort, value, location and, where rated, breakfast and Wi-Fi. There is no paging: each call returns the 10 latest reviews.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get Booking.com hotel prices for specific dates?
Send a destination with checkin, checkout, adults and currency to Scavio's /api/v1/booking/search. Always send checkin and checkout together: Booking ignores a lone check-in date and prices dates of its own choosing. The response echoes the dates, nights and occupancy it priced, so every stored price stays interpretable.
Are Booking.com API prices before or after tax?
It depends on the property and market. Search rows carry a charges_info note such as "+US$20 taxes" when the price excludes tax. The hotel endpoint is unambiguous: every rate offer has price, price_with_charges and an itemised excluded_charges list, for example a 14.75% tax and a $3.50 city tax in New York.
How do I get Booking.com reviews through an API?
Call /api/v1/booking/reviews with the property URL from a search row. It returns the overall score and total review count, per-category subscores, Booking's own summary of the most-mentioned pros and cons, and the 10 latest reviews, each with liked and disliked text, score, date, room booked and traveller type. There is no paging parameter.
How much does Booking.com data cost with Scavio?
Every Booking.com endpoint costs 1 credit: about $0.002 on the Growth plan billed yearly and $0.0043 on the $30 monthly Project plan. New accounts get 50 free credits with no card, enough to price a city for a few dates and read the reviews of the hotels you shortlist.
