For Canadian Tire data inside an app, a deal tracker or an AI agent, start with Scavio's Canadian Tire API. Every call is priced and stocked at the store you pick: POST /api/v1/canadiantire/availability returns price, regular price, clearance flag, units on hand and aisle for up to 50 SKUs in one call, /clearance lists a store's clearance 100 items at a time, and /stores finds the nearest stores with their stock of any SKU. Every endpoint costs 1 credit, and Scavio starts from $2 per 1,000 requests on the Growth plan billed yearly.
You need a third-party API because Canadian Tire does not offer one you can sign up for. Its developer portal still answers, but on October 31, 2026 its public documentation listed only a sample Echo service, its registration page said registration is currently disabled, and the site's security certificate had expired on February 20, 2026.
We build Scavio, so read this with that bias in mind. Every Scavio number below comes from live calls we made on October 31, 2026. Every competitor detail was read off the vendor's own page that day, and where a detail was not published we say so. The screenshots are each vendor's own Canadian Tire page, captured the same day.

Canadian Tire's clearance depends on the store
Canadian Tire's corporate site describes each Dealer as the sole owner and operator of their store, and the data shows it. We called Scavio's clearance endpoint once at each of six stores, then checked one item at all six with the availability endpoint.
Vancouver Cambie & 7th listed 3,752 clearance items and Montreal Downtown 840: 4.5 times as many at one store as at another. Two Toronto stores under 4 km apart listed 2,299 and 2,788. Single items move just as much. The Dyson Corrale cord-free straightener (SKU 0438858) was $329.93 on clearance at both Toronto stores and in Montreal, $549.96 on clearance in Vancouver, and $649.99 at full price with no units in Calgary and Halifax.
Then we took the first 50 clearance SKUs at Toronto Eaton Centre and priced all 50 at Calgary Mount Royal in a single availability call. Only 8 were on clearance in Calgary. Toronto was cheaper on the other 42 and never dearer, by $5,097.54 across the 42, led by a De'Longhi Magnifica Start espresso machine at $499.93 in Toronto against $849.99 in Calgary. Regular prices move by province too: the DeWalt DCK277D2 combo kit was $199.99 in Ontario, Alberta, BC and Nova Scotia and $200.64 in Montreal. If your product tracks deals, flags clearance or answers "is it cheaper at another store", the store is the unit of data.
1. Scavio: one store's price, stock, aisle and clearance per call

Scavio's Canadian Tire API is 6 POST endpoints, each 1 credit. Measured on October 31:
- Availability: 50 SKUs at Calgary Mount Royal came back in one call in 2.1 s, none in
not_found, each with price,was_price,is_clearance,is_on_sale,price_valid_until,quantity,aisle, online warehouse stock and pickup and delivery dates. - Clearance: 100 items a page with clearance price, regular price and
store_quantity; the six calls behind the chart took 1.9 to 8.2 s. 386 of the 537 clearance prices on those first pages ended in .93, and the median markdown was 37.5% off the regular price. - Stores: a postal code plus a SKU returns the nearest stores with each one's quantity and aisle. Near M5V 2T6, the Dyson straightener had 39 units in Aisle 133 at Toronto Eaton Centre and 2 at Liberty Village.
- Search, product and deals: store-priced search, 24 results a page; full product detail with specifications, features, warranty and every variant's SKU; and the store's sale, instant-rebate, special-buy or Triangle Rewards items. Toronto Eaton Centre had 2,775 items on sale and 94 instant rebates.
What it does not do: there is no review text (rating and count only), no price history (you build one by calling on a schedule), and Sport Chek and Mark's are not covered. A full clearance sweep is one call per 100 items, so Vancouver's 3,752 items take 38 calls. Clearance rows can include items a store has just sold out of: on Toronto Eaton Centre's first page, 77 of 100 rows had units on hand, so filter on store_quantity. The benefit is one key and one JSON format for Canadian Tire alongside Lowe's, Home Depot, Costco and Walmart, plus an MCP server for agents. How to get Canadian Tire product data walks through each call with captured responses.
2. Bright Data: records by the thousand
Bright Data's Canadian Tire Scraper API lists product name, brand, category, price, promotion price, specifications, stock status, store availability, rating and review count, delivered as JSON, CSV or Parquet or loaded into S3, BigQuery or Snowflake. One of its use cases is tracking stock by store across provinces; the page does not say whether prices are collected per store. It costs $1.50 per 1,000 page loads pay-as-you-go, or $499 a month for 383,000 page loads with more at $1.30 per 1,000, and offers 5,000 free page loads a month. Choose it when the deliverable is a large file of records rather than an answer inside a request. Its page showed a full-screen consent dialog in all three of our captures, so there is no screenshot here.
3. Apify actors: scheduled exports of search and category pages

azzouzana/canadiantire-ca-scraper has 49 users and charges from $1.00 per 1,000 results. It takes search, category or product URLs plus a store id, and returns prices, promotions, ratings, specifications, variants and a fulfillment block for pickup and delivery. A smaller actor, loudtzu/canadian-tire-product-search, with 2 users, charges $0.40 per 1,000 products and returns store quantity for the storeId you set. Neither documents a clearance or deals mode, and neither had a rating yet. Actors run as jobs that write to a dataset, which suits scheduled exports more than a call inside an app, and each is maintained by its author, so pin the one you test.
4. CanadianTracker: a free price history you host
![]()
CanadianTracker is an open-source Python tool that scrapes the Canadian Tire website into a SQLite database to build a price history, with a small web front end to browse it. It has 8 stars and 171 commits, and its last commit was about 9 months old on October 31. Its README describes scraping in several steps because of the site's slow responses, and does not mention per-store prices or clearance. Choose it if you want price history for free and are willing to run it and fix it when the site changes.
StockTrack.ca and ClearanceCheck.ca are free consumer sites for checking stock and clearance across stores, not APIs; StockTrack served us a bot check on October 31, so we could not review it.
Pick by the number you need
If your users act on what a specific Canadian Tire store charges and holds, keeping that current across stores is the ongoing work, and it is what Scavio's Canadian Tire API handles. Watching 500 SKUs at 10 stores every day is 10 availability calls per store, 100 calls a day and about 3,000 credits a month: $6 at the Growth-yearly rate of $2 per 1,000 credits, for 150,000 store-level price and stock checks. Sweeping the full clearance at the six stores in our chart daily is 139 calls a day, about 4,170 credits a month, or $8.34. Billed per page load or per result instead, the same 150,000 checks are 150,000 billable units: $225 a month at Bright Data's pay-as-you-go rate if each check is one page load. Try the Canadian Tire API free, 50 credits, no card, or try the endpoints in the playground.

Frequently asked questions
Does Canadian Tire have a public API?
Not one you can sign up for. Canadian Tire runs a developer portal at developer.cantire.com, but on October 31, 2026 its public documentation listed only a sample Echo service, its registration page said registration is currently disabled, and its security certificate had expired on February 20, 2026. To read product prices, store stock and clearance with one key, use a third-party API such as Scavio's Canadian Tire API.
Are Canadian Tire prices the same at every store?
No. Canadian Tire's corporate site describes each Dealer as the sole owner and operator of their store, and prices, clearance and stock follow the store. On October 31, 2026 a Dyson Corrale straightener was $329.93 on clearance in Toronto and Montreal, $549.96 in Vancouver and $649.99 in Calgary and Halifax.
How do I check Canadian Tire stock at a specific store?
Pass a store_id and up to 50 SKUs to Scavio's /api/v1/canadiantire/availability, and each SKU comes back with the units on hand and the aisle at that store. To see which nearby stores have one item, send a postal code and the SKU to /api/v1/canadiantire/stores instead.
What is the cheapest way to get Canadian Tire data?
CanadianTracker on GitHub is free if you run and maintain it yourself. Among hosted options, Apify actors start at $0.40 per 1,000 products, Bright Data charges $1.50 per 1,000 page loads, and Scavio costs $2 per 1,000 calls on its Growth plan billed yearly. Because one Scavio call checks 50 SKUs or lists 100 clearance items, its cost per item is lower than its per-call price suggests.
Can I get Canadian Tire clearance items by store?
Yes. Scavio's /api/v1/canadiantire/clearance takes a store_id and returns that store's clearance items, 100 per page, with the clearance price, regular price and units on hand. The counts differ widely: 3,752 items at Vancouver Cambie & 7th against 840 at Montreal Downtown on October 31, 2026.
