For Airbnb prices inside an app, a rental-market tool or an AI agent, start with Scavio's Airbnb API. Its search endpoint takes a city, ZIP or Airbnb search URL plus the dates you care about, and returns up to 18 listings a page, each with the per-night price, the stay total and the line items behind it: discounts with the original price, taxes and resort fees where Airbnb shows them. A listing call adds the amenities, host profile and category ratings. Every call is 1 credit, and Scavio starts from $2 per 1,000 requests on the Growth plan billed yearly.
You need a third-party API because Airbnb does not offer one for this. Its API Terms of Service (last updated October 15, 2025) cover API Programs for host services: property management, channel management, operations management, connected devices, hospitality providers and the Preferred Software Partner Program. The developer documentation manages a partner's own listings, availability and reservations and sits behind a partner login. Nothing in it searches other hosts' listings or returns their prices.
We build Scavio, so read this with that bias in mind. Every Scavio number below comes from live calls we made on October 27, 2026. Every competitor detail was read off the vendor's own page or documentation that day, and where a price was not published we say so. The screenshots are each vendor's own Airbnb page, captured the same day.

Airbnb's price depends on the dates
An Airbnb listing has no single price. The host sets a rate per night, Airbnb adds discounts, and the number a guest sees changes with the dates they search. A dataset with one price per listing, or one average per market, cannot tell you what a stay costs next weekend. We searched five US cities with Scavio for 2 adults over two 2-night windows a few days apart: Tuesday to Thursday, November 17-19, and Friday to Sunday, November 20-22. Each search took the first two result pages, 332 priced listings in all.
The median nightly price before taxes rose in every city: from $122 to $238 in New Orleans (95% more), $150 to $194 in Nashville (29%), $120 to $150 in Miami (25%), $166 to $189 in San Diego (14%) and $157 to $171 in Austin (9%). Airbnb ranks a different mix of listings for each set of dates, so the medians compare two markets rather than the same homes. The 8 listings that appeared in both searches settle that: every one cost more on the weekend, by 25% to 113% a night, with a median of 52%. A walkable back house in Austin was $125.50 a night midweek and $233.50 for the weekend.
The ledger moved too. 128 of the 332 rows carried a discount with the original price beside it, mostly a note that the host "recently lowered the price for these dates". Twelve hotel rooms listed on Airbnb added a resort fee of $20 to $90.40 for the two nights. In New Orleans, Miami and Nashville some result pages came back with taxes itemised: in a weekend search of New Orleans ZIP 70116, taxes added 19% to 25% to the stay, a median of 22%. If your product compares stays, prices a host's listing against its neighbours or answers "what will this trip cost", you need the price for the dates in question, and the parts it is made of.
1. Scavio: live nightly prices and listing detail

Scavio's Airbnb API returns search results and listing detail from POST endpoints, each 1 credit. Measured on October 27:
- Search: "Austin, TX" for November 17-19 returned 18 listings, one of 15 result pages, each with
total,nightly_rate,per_night, theprice_itemsledger,original_totaland the host's note when a price is discounted, rating, review count, bedrooms, beds, baths, Guest Favorite and Superhost flags, coordinates and photos. The response echoes the resolved place, its coordinates and map bounds, and adates_are_defaultedflag. Our 23 searches took 1.0 to 11.8 seconds, median 2.6. Filters cover room type, a whole-stay price range, bedrooms, beds, baths, amenities, Superhost, Instant Book and free cancellation, and a ZIP such as 70116 resolves to New Orleans withplace_precision: "zip". - Listing: a guest studio in East Austin returned its property type, capacity, 39 amenities in 10 groups plus 5 marked as not included, sleeping arrangements, photo tour, the host (Superhost, 14 years hosting, 1,020 reviews, a 100% response rate) and the rating summary: 4.94 from 1,004 reviews with six category ratings, from 5 for cleanliness to 4.9 for location and value. It took 3.0 seconds.
What it does not do: there is no availability calendar and no occupancy or revenue estimate, the listing call carries no price (the price comes from search), and review text is not available at the moment, so the rating summary on the listing is what you get. Search returns 18 listings a page, so a whole city takes up to 15 calls. The benefit is the price a guest sees for the exact dates you ask, in one JSON format alongside Booking.com, Google Hotels and Tripadvisor behind one key, plus an MCP server for agents. How to get Airbnb listing and price data walks through each call with captured responses.
2. AirROI: occupancy, revenue and comparables

AirROI's Airbnb API is short-term rental analytics: listing search by market, radius or polygon, comparables, market metrics for occupancy, average daily rate, RevPAR, revenue, booking lead time and length of stay, a revenue estimator, pricing recommendations, and live calendar, rates and availability endpoints. Pricing is per call from a prepaid balance with a $10 starting deposit: $0.10 for a listing or its live rates, $0.20 for a live calendar and $0.50 for a market search on the Standard tier, about half that on its Preferred Partner tier, and $0.01 for a market lookup. Choose it when the question is how a market or a listing performs over time rather than what a stay costs today.
3. AirDNA: enterprise market data

AirDNA sells its data to businesses through an enterprise agreement. Its help centre says API access needs a token "set up at purchase by your account manager", that you choose the endpoints when you buy, and that you need a data engineering team or environment to ingest the data. The endpoints cover listing performance (average daily rate, occupancy, revenue and reviews), Smart Rates (recommended daily rates by Airbnb property id), availability up to 12 months ahead, Rentalizer revenue estimates and market data. API pricing is not published. Choose it for market research and forecasting at company scale, with a sales process.
4. SearchApi: Airbnb search with a price breakdown

SearchApi's Airbnb engine searches by place or bounding box with optional dates, guests, price, property-type and amenity filters, and returns price.total_price, the per-night rate, the original price and discount, and a breakdown of line items; on airbnb.com, include_taxes=true adds the total with taxes. Separate Property, Property Reviews and Property Availability Calendar APIs sit beside it. Pricing is per successful search: 100 free requests, $40 a month for 10,000 ($4 per 1,000), down to $1 per 1,000 at 5 million a month; the pricing page does not state an Airbnb-specific rate. Choose it if your team already uses SearchApi for Google and wants an availability calendar.
5. Bright Data: bulk listing records

Bright Data's Airbnb Scraper API collects locations, prices, reviews, ratings, images, the availability calendar, host profiles, capacity, amenities and coordinates, with search by location or by search URL; dates and guests travel inside the URL you submit. Its sample output shows a price and a discount field without a breakdown. It costs $1.50 per 1,000 records pay-as-you-go, or $499 a month for 384,000 records with more at $1.30 per 1,000, and every account gets 5,000 free records a month with no card. Because it bills per record, a search that returns 18 listings is 18 records. Choose it when the deliverable is a large file of records rather than an answer inside a request.
6. Apify actor: scheduled no-code runs

The most-used Airbnb actor on Apify, tri_angle/airbnb-scraper, had 18,067 total users and 900 in the last 30 days on October 27. It takes locations, check-in and check-out dates, guests and price filters, returns up to about 240 results per search, and its example output has a per-night price with a breakdown of base price, cleaning fee, service fee and total before taxes, plus amenities, host and category ratings. It charges per listing by Apify plan: $4.00 per 1,000 on the free plan, $2.00 on Bronze, $1.50 on Silver, $1.00 on Gold and down to $0.50 on Diamond, with richer "enriched" listings costing more. Actors run as jobs that write to a dataset, which suits scheduled exports. Each actor is maintained by its author, so pin the one you test.
RapidAPI lists several independent Airbnb APIs from different authors; check each one's maintenance history, quotas and price before you rely on it. For free historical snapshots, Inside Airbnb publishes listings, calendar and reviews files for many cities under CC BY 4.0, roughly quarterly; its Austin file was dated September 17, 2026.
Pick by the number you need
If your users act on what a stay costs on given dates, keeping those prices current across markets and date windows is the ongoing work, and it is what Scavio's Airbnb API handles. Tracking 50 markets for 4 upcoming date windows, two result pages each, is 400 searches a day and about 12,000 credits a month: $24 at the Growth-yearly rate of $2 per 1,000 credits. Each search returns up to 18 priced listings, so that covers roughly 7,200 listing prices a day, about 216,000 a month. Billed per record, the same coverage would be about $324 at $1.50 per 1,000, or $108 to $864 on the Apify actor depending on your Apify plan. If you need occupancy or revenue, add a market-data vendor for that part. Try the Airbnb API free, 50 credits, no card, or try the endpoints in the playground.

Frequently asked questions
Does Airbnb have a public API for listing and price data?
No. Airbnb's API Terms of Service, last updated October 15, 2025, describe API Programs for host services such as property management, channel management, connected devices and the Preferred Software Partner Program, and its developer documentation sits behind a partner login. None of it lets you search other hosts' listings or read their prices. For that you need a third-party API.
Which Airbnb API returns prices for specific dates?
Scavio's search endpoint takes check_in and check_out and returns the per-night price, the stay total and the price ledger for those dates. SearchApi's Airbnb engine and the most-used Apify actor also take dates, Bright Data reads dates from the search URL you send, and AirROI sells live rates and calendar endpoints per listing. AirDNA's Smart Rates are recommended rates rather than the price a guest sees.
Can I get Airbnb occupancy and revenue data through an API?
Yes, as estimates, from market-data vendors. AirROI sells occupancy, average daily rate, RevPAR and revenue endpoints at $0.10 a call on its Standard tier, and AirDNA sells listing and market data with occupancy and revenue under an enterprise agreement. Search APIs return what Airbnb shows a guest today, which is price and listing detail, not occupancy.
What is the cheapest Airbnb data API?
Per listing, the request-priced search APIs. Scavio is $2 per 1,000 calls on its Growth plan billed yearly and one search returns up to 18 priced listings, about $0.11 per 1,000 listing rows. Apify's most-used actor charges $0.50 to $4.00 per 1,000 listings by Apify plan, Bright Data $1.50 per 1,000 records, and SearchApi from $4 per 1,000 searches on its smallest plan.
Is there free Airbnb data?
Inside Airbnb publishes free listings, calendar and reviews files for many cities under a CC BY 4.0 licence, refreshed roughly quarterly; the Austin snapshot was dated September 17, 2026 when we checked. AirROI also gives away city datasets. Both are snapshots, so for today's price on a given set of dates you need a live API.
