See who's talking
about you on Reddit
Type a brand, product or keyword and get the newest Reddit posts and comments that mention it.
A free Reddit mention tracker
People ask Reddit for recommendations, complain about tools they pay for, and compare alternatives in public. Most of that happens in comments, deep in threads you would never find by scrolling a subreddit. This tool searches posts and comments together and shows the newest mentions of your keyword first.
Use it to catch a question you can answer, spot a complaint about a competitor, or see which communities talk about your category. Each result links straight to the thread.
As of October 2026, GummySearch has stopped selling new plans and its remaining service ends on December 1, 2026, after it could not get a commercial license for Reddit's Data API. If you used it for keyword tracking, this is a free way to keep checking, with an API behind it when you want to run it every day. You get 5 free checks a day, no account.
How to monitor Reddit for brand mentions
- 1
Type what to watch
Enter your brand, a competitor, a product name or any phrase people use when they need what you sell.
- 2
Narrow it if you want
Leave the subreddit blank to search all of Reddit, or type one, like SaaS or smallbusiness, to watch a single community.
- 3
Read the newest mentions
Posts and comments come back newest first, with the keyword highlighted, the subreddit, score, reply count and a link to join the thread.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Reddit keyword monitor show?+
The newest Reddit posts and comments that mention your keyword: the subreddit, the post title, the text with your keyword highlighted, the author, score, reply count, how long ago it was posted, and a link to the thread.
Does it search comments as well as posts?+
Yes. Every check searches posts and comments together and merges them into one list, newest first. Comments are where most brand mentions and recommendation requests happen.
Can I monitor one subreddit?+
Yes. Type the subreddit name in the r/ box and the search only returns posts and comments from that community. Leave it blank to search all of Reddit.
Is it free?+
Yes. You get 5 free keyword checks a day with no account. Sign up free to keep checking on your own Scavio credits.
Can it alert me when my keyword is mentioned?+
This page is a one-off check. To track a keyword every day, sign up free and run the same search on a schedule from n8n, Make, Zapier or a cron job, then send new mentions to Slack or email.
Is this a GummySearch alternative?+
For keyword tracking, yes. As of October 2026, GummySearch stopped selling new plans on November 30, 2025, after it could not get a commercial license for Reddit's Data API, and its remaining service ends on December 1, 2026. This tool covers the mention-finding part: newest posts and comments for any keyword, with an API behind it.
Do I need a Reddit account or the Reddit API?+
No. You do not need a Reddit account, a Reddit app, or Reddit API credentials. The free check runs without any login, and the Scavio API uses one API key for Reddit and every other platform.
How far back does it search?+
It is built for recent mentions. Comments come back newest first, and posts are merged in and sorted by date, so the top of the list is what people said most recently.
Can I export the mentions?+
There is no one-click export. Through the API you get the same results as JSON to store in a sheet, a database or your CRM.
Can I use this in my own code?+
Yes. POST /api/v1/reddit/search/comments with { "query": "your keyword", "sort": "NEW" } returns the newest comments, and POST /api/v1/reddit/search returns matching posts. Each call costs 1 credit. Add subreddit:name to the query to search one community.

Track Reddit with the Reddit API
This tool is two endpoints on the Scavio API. Search posts and comments, pull full threads and subreddit feeds, and run them on a schedule from your own pipelines and agents.
