How far down the results does it look?+
Up to the first 3 Etsy results pages, reading the top 12 listings of each page. It stops at the first page where your shop or listing ranks organically, so a page 1 hit is answered in one search. If your shop only appears as an ad, it keeps looking for an organic spot until page 3.
Why does a page only show 12 listings?+
The Scavio API returns the top 12 listings of each Etsy results page, which are the spots most buyers see before scrolling. A position like page 2, #5 means the fifth listing from the top of results page 2. Listings further down a page are not covered, so a shop that is not found may still sit lower on one of those pages.
How does it tell organic results from ads?+
Etsy marks promoted listings as ads in its search results, and the API returns that as is_ad on each listing. The tool reports your organic position and your ad position separately, and the organic number on a page also tells you where you sit once the ads are left out.
Can I check one listing instead of my whole shop?+
Yes. Paste a listing link such as etsy.com/listing/1234567890 or just the listing id. The tool finds that exact listing, then also shows any other listings from the same shop on the pages it checked.
Why is my rank different from what I see on Etsy?+
Etsy search results change with location, the buyer's history and time. The check runs a neutral US search with prices in USD, which is closer to what a new buyer sees than your own signed-in browser. Run the same keyword a few times over a week before reading much into a single move.

This page is a one-off check. To track rank over time, run the same search through the API from a cron job, n8n, Make or Zapier and store each day's positions in a sheet or database. Can I use this in my own code?+

POST /api/v1/etsy/search with { "query": "ceramic mug", "page": 1 } returns data.listings, where each item has pos, listing_id, title, url, price (amount, currency, original_amount, on_sale), shop (id, name), is_ad and free_shipping. Match shop.name or listing_id to get your rank, and raise page to look further. Each call costs 2 credits.
