A free Etsy shop sales checker for competitor research
Before you price a new product or pick a niche, you want to know what the shops next to you are doing: how many sales they have, how many reviews, what they charge, how often they discount and which of their items are moving. This tool pulls all of that from one shop name.
The header comes straight from the shop page: sales count, reviews, rating, admirers, active listings, location, opening year, Star Seller status and the sections the catalog is organized into. Below it, the first page of listings with prices, sale prices and free shipping, the price spread, and the listings that collected the most of the shop's latest reviews, the freshest read on what buyers are ordering.
It runs on three endpoints of the Etsy API: shop profile, shop listings and shop reviews. With an API key you can page through a shop's whole catalog, run the same check on a list of competitors every day, and keep the history in your own sheet or database.

What does the Etsy shop analyzer show?+
The shop's total sales, review count, rating, admirers, number of active listings, location, opening year, Star Seller status and shop sections, plus the first page of its listings with image, title, price, sale price, free shipping and a link. A summary gives the median, lowest and highest price and the listings that collected the most of the shop's latest reviews.
Can I check how many sales an Etsy shop has?+
Yes. When the shop displays its sales count on its Etsy page, the analyzer shows it as the Sales figure. If a shop does not display it, the tool says Not shown rather than guessing. Review count and admirers are shown either way.
How does it find a shop's best sellers?+
It reads the shop's most recent reviews (about 14 per page) and counts how many each listing received. Listings that keep getting reviewed are a strong sign of what buyers are ordering now. The shop's listing grid has no per-listing sales or favorites, so this is the most current demand signal available, and the tool labels it that way.

That is what it is built for. Run it on the shops that rank next to you to compare price points, discounting, free shipping, catalog size, how the catalog is organized into sections and which products are moving. To track the same shops over time, run the calls daily through the API and store the numbers.
Does it work with a shop URL?+
Yes. Paste a link like https://www.etsy.com/shop/Name, with or without tracking parameters or a country path, or type the shop name on its own. A listing link will not work; open the shop from the listing and copy that link instead.
What happens if the shop does not exist?+
The tool tells you no Etsy shop was found with that name. Shop names have no spaces, so check the spelling against the shop page or paste the link instead.
Why are some prices in a currency other than USD?+
Prices come back in the currency the Etsy page was served in. When the result is not in US dollars, the tool says which currency the prices are in so you can compare like with like.
Can I export the listings?+
There is no one-click export. Through the API you get every listing on every page of the shop as JSON, ready for a sheet, a database or your own dashboard.
Can I run this from my own code?+
Yes. POST /api/v1/etsy/shop with { "shop": "StonehousePotteryOH" } returns the shop profile, POST /api/v1/etsy/shop/products returns a page of its listings (add "page" for more), and POST /api/v1/etsy/reviews returns its reviews. Each call costs 2 credits, so a full shop check like this one is 6 credits.
