Who wins the Buy Box, and who else sells your ASIN
A shopper who adds to cart from the product page buys from whichever seller holds the Buy Box, so for a brand or a seller the two questions that matter on a listing are who has it right now and who else is on the ASIN. The product page shows you one seller. The offer list shows the rest, but not the gap between them, the shipping that changes the real price, or which sellers you never authorized.
This checker reads every offer on the listing and puts it in one table: the Buy Box winner first, then each seller by landed price with their condition, FBA or FBM, and how far they sit above or below the winner. Add your authorized sellers and anyone else on the listing is flagged. It also tells you when a listing has no Buy Box at all.
It runs on the Scavio Amazon API, one call to the offers endpoint per check. For the product page itself, use the Amazon product lookup; for the shopper-facing price, the Amazon price checker; for search position, the keyword rank checker; and to compare against Walmart, the Amazon vs Walmart price compare.
How to check the Amazon Buy Box
- 1
Paste the listing
Paste an Amazon product URL or type the 10-character ASIN. A URL from amazon.de, amazon.co.uk or any other supported marketplace checks that marketplace; for a bare ASIN, pick the marketplace from the list.
- 2
Add your authorized sellers (optional)
Open Flag unauthorized sellers and list your own seller names or seller IDs. Any other seller on the listing gets flagged. The list stays in your browser.
- 3
Read the Buy Box and the offers
See the Buy Box winner with price, shipping, FBA or FBM and condition, then every offer sorted by landed price with the gap to the Buy Box, the seller count and the FBA versus FBM split.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Amazon Buy Box checker show?+
For one ASIN on one marketplace, it shows the seller holding the Buy Box with their price, shipping, landed price, condition and whether the offer is FBA, FBM or Amazon itself. Below that it lists every offer on the first page of the offer list, sorted by landed price, with seller name and ID, condition, fulfillment and the gap to the Buy Box, plus the seller count, the FBA versus FBM split and whether Amazon is selling.
How does it know who has the Buy Box?+
Amazon marks one offer on the listing as the Buy Box winner, and the checker reads that flag directly. That offer is the price and seller a shopper gets from the product page. Nothing is estimated or modelled.
Why does it say there is no Buy Box?+
Because no offer holds it. Amazon sometimes shows no Buy Box on a listing, and shoppers then have to choose a seller from the offer list. On October 20, 2026, LEGO Classic 10698 had no Buy Box on amazon.de across 10 offers, while on amazon.com Amazon itself held it at $33.49. The checker still lists every offer so you can see who is selling and at what price.
Can I see sellers priced below the Buy Box?+
Yes. The vs Buy Box column shows how far each offer sits above or below the winner, and the Below Buy Box tile counts the cheaper offers. On October 20, 2026, a renewed iPhone 11 listing on amazon.com had its Buy Box at $176.00 (Refurbished - Excellent) while six offers were cheaper, the lowest at $168.00 in Refurbished - Good. Four of those six were Refurbished - Good; two were Refurbished - Excellent, the same condition as the winner, so a lower price alone did not take the Buy Box.
How do I find unauthorized sellers on my ASIN?+
Click Flag unauthorized sellers, enter your own seller names or seller IDs separated by commas, and run the check. Every seller on the listing that is not on your list gets a Not on your list tag, and a summary names them. Seller IDs are the safest match because names can change.
What is the landed price?+
The item price plus the shipping price on the offer. A $44.65 offer with $9.99 shipping lands at $54.64, which is what the shopper pays before tax. Offers are sorted by it because comparing item prices alone hides shipping.
What do FBA and FBM mean here?+
FBA means the offer is fulfilled by Amazon (the seller ships stock to Amazon's warehouses). FBM means the seller ships it themselves. Offers sold by Amazon itself are tagged Amazon. The FBA vs FBM tile counts third-party sellers on each side.
Does it show seller feedback ratings?+
No. The offers data has no seller rating, so the checker does not invent one. Each seller name links to that seller's profile on the marketplace, where Amazon shows their feedback.
How many offers does it check?+
The first page of the offer list, usually 10 or 11 offers, which is the same page the API returns. When Amazon reports more, the checker says so: LEGO Classic 10698 on amazon.com showed 11 offers on the first page of 22 reported.
Which Amazon marketplaces does it cover?+
21 marketplaces: the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, India, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Is it free, and can I run it from my own code?+
Yes. You get 5 free Buy Box checks a day with no account. For more, get an API key: 50 free credits on signup, no card required. Each check is one call to POST /api/v1/amazon/offers with the ASIN and country, at 1 credit, and the full JSON for every offer is available via the API. Run it daily through the API across your catalog to see when the Buy Box changes hands or a new seller appears.
