Where does your ASIN
rank on Amazon?
Enter an ASIN and a keyword. Get the organic rank, the page and spot, any sponsored placement, and the 10 listings you compete with.
A free Amazon keyword rank checker
Your listing's position for a handful of keywords decides most of its sales. Scrolling Amazon yourself gives you a personalised answer, and paid seller suites charge a monthly fee for the same number. This checker runs a clean search for the keyword and marketplace you choose and tells you exactly where the ASIN lands.
Sponsored ads and featured carousels are kept separate from the organic count, so #1 means the top organic result, not the first tile on the page. Use it to check a launch, compare yourself with a competitor, or confirm that a listing change moved your rank.
How to check your Amazon keyword rank
- 1
Paste your ASIN
Enter the 10-character ASIN or paste the product URL. Links with /dp/, /gp/product/ and the mobile /gp/aw/d/ format all work.
- 2
Type the keyword
Enter the search term a shopper would type, exactly as they would type it, and pick the Amazon marketplace.
- 3
Read your rank
The checker scans up to three pages of results and shows your organic rank, the page and spot, any sponsored placement, and the top 10 listings you compete with.
Frequently asked questions
How is the organic rank counted?+
Only organic listings count. Sponsored products and featured carousel placements are skipped, so #4 means three organic listings appear above yours for that keyword. The page and spot tell you where it sits in the results grid.
How many results does it check?+
Up to three pages of results, which is usually around 45 to 50 organic listings. It stops as soon as it finds your ASIN, so most checks finish after the first page.
Does it show sponsored placements?+
Yes. If your ASIN also appears as a Sponsored listing, the checker shows the page and spot of that ad separately from your organic rank.
Which Amazon marketplaces are supported?+
amazon.com plus the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, India, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, UAE and the Netherlands in the tool. The API covers 22 Amazon marketplaces.
Is it free?+
Yes. You get 5 free rank checks a day with no account. Sign up free to keep checking on your own Scavio credits, or track keywords daily through the API.
Why does my rank differ from what I see on Amazon?+
Amazon personalises results by location, browsing history and Prime status, and ranks move through the day. The checker runs a clean, logged-out search for the marketplace you pick, which is the closest thing to a neutral rank.
Can I track rankings every day?+
Yes, through the API. Each results page is one call to POST /api/v1/amazon/search. Loop through your keywords on a schedule, match your ASIN in data.products, and store the position to build a rank history.
Can I check competitors' ASINs?+
Yes. Any ASIN works, so you can see where a competitor ranks for the keywords you are targeting. The top 10 list also shows who you are competing with on that search.
What does the response look like in the API?+
Each product in data.products has asin, title, url, image, price, currency, rating, reviews_count, is_sponsored and position. The checker uses exactly these fields.
What if my product is not found?+
You will see 'Not in the top N results' with how many organic listings were checked. Try a more specific long-tail keyword, which is where newer listings usually rank first.
