Mercado Libre Reviews API

One page of up to 15 Mercado Libre product reviews, optionally filtered by star rating: rating, text, the original text when Mercado Libre translated it, exact date, likes, the country the review was written in and photos. Page until a page comes back empty. Costs 1 credit per request.

Catalog product id, as returned in product_id by Search (or in a /p/ URL). Its prefix sets the country: MLM Mexico, MLB Brazil, MLA Argentina, MCO Colombia. Pass exactly one of product_id, item_id or url.

Notes

Page until a page is empty. Each page holds up to 15 reviews, and a page can hold fewer while more follow, so there is no reliable "has more" flag: request the next page until count is 0. The review totals and the star distribution come from Product (rating.count, rating.distribution).

Translated, pooled reviews. A catalog product pools reviews from several Mercado Libre countries and shows them in the site's language. When a review was translated, translated is true and original_text keeps the original (the first captured review was written in Portuguese on Mercado Livre Brazil). site_id, country and reviewer_country say where each review came from; country is null for a site the API does not serve, such as Chile (MLC).

Reviews cost 1 credit per page, half the other Mercado Libre endpoints.
text can be empty on photo-only reviews; media lists the photos.
An unknown id returns 404 and is billed. With a rating filter, a star level with no reviews returns an empty page. Temporary failures (502/503) are never billed.
