Mercado Libre Product API

One Mercado Libre catalog product or listing by URL, product_id or item_id: title, price, list price and discount, installments, promotions, the buy-box seller with reputation level and seller tier, stock, shipping, units sold as a lower bound, rating with its star distribution, variations with sibling product ids, specs, description, pictures and categories. Costs 2 credits per request.

product_idstring

Catalog product id, as returned in product_id by Search (or in a /p/ URL). Its prefix sets the country: MLM Mexico, MLB Brazil, MLA Argentina, MCO Colombia. Pass exactly one of product_id, item_id or url.

Item (listing) id, as returned in item_id by Search. MLM-3571336480 is accepted too.

A Mercado Libre or Mercado Livre product (/p/), user product (/up/) or listing page URL from a supported country.

Notes

The buy-box seller only. seller is the seller currently winning the buy box, with seller_id, nickname, reputation level, seller tier (power_seller_status) and sales label. The list of every other seller offering the same catalog product is not available. Pass seller.seller_id to Search to list that seller's catalogue.

Units sold are lower bounds. sold_quantity_min is the bucket Mercado Libre shows (1000 for "+1000 vendidos"), not an exact count; sold_label is the text as shown.

No country parameter: the id prefix (or the URL's domain) sets it. MLM is Mexico, MLB Brazil, MLA Argentina, MCO Colombia. Chile (MLC) ids return 400.
rating.distribution and rating.count are the review totals; Reviews pages the review bodies.
variations lists each option (color, size, capacity) with the sibling product_id to request next.
category_id feeds Best Sellers, and best_seller_position is set when the product is ranked in its category.
Some fields are null where the listing does not show them (here brand and user_product_id). Prices are in the site's currency, with decimals where the site shows them.
An id that does not exist returns 404 and is billed. Temporary failures (502/503) are never billed.
