To get Walmart product data programmatically, use Scavio's Walmart API. POST /api/v1/walmart/search returns a page of products (55 for "air fryer") with price, rating, review count, seller, stock status and pickup and delivery options; add a store_id and delivery_zip and every price and stock flag comes from that store. /product adds variants, specifications and the aisle, /reviews returns the star breakdown and review text, and /offers lists every seller with the buy-box winner. Most calls cost 1 credit, about $0.002 on the Growth plan billed yearly.
Walmart's own developer programs serve marketplace sellers managing their own listings and orders, so they are the wrong tool for reading the public catalogue, a competitor's price or what a given store charges.
Step 1: Search products
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/walmart/search \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"query": "air fryer"}'On October 26, 2026 this returned 55 products from 2,263 results in one call, with a location object naming the store the results were priced at. One row, as captured (URL tracking parameters trimmed):
{

"badge": "100+ bought since yesterday"
}sponsored lets you drop ads from a ranking, badge carries Walmart's own signals such as "Overall pick" or "100+ bought since yesterday", and page pages through the rest.
Step 2: Price it at a specific store
Walmart prices fresh and local items per store, and walmart.com shows each shopper the price at their store. To get a given store's numbers, find its id first:
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/walmart/stores \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"zipcode": "10001"}'For ZIP 10001 the nearest store returned was the Secaucus Supercenter, store 3520. Pass it to search with a delivery ZIP:
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/walmart/search \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"query": "whole milk gallon", "store_id": "3520", "delivery_zip": "07094"}'The response's location confirms {"city": "Secaucus", "state": "NJ", "store_id": "3520", "zipcode": "07094"}, and Great Value Whole Vitamin D Milk, Gallon came back at $4.25. The same search at four other stores priced it at $2.53 in Chicago, $2.62 in Dallas, $3.08 in Miami and $3.48 in San Leandro, California. A store-targeted search or product call costs 2 credits.
Step 3: Get the full product
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/walmart/product \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"product_id": "5144605607"}'Product detail adds everything search leaves out: every image, the GTIN, brand, model and manufacturer part number, the specifications table, short and long descriptions, seller type, and variants[] with each variant's own product id, price, options and stock state. For the Ninja air fryer that was 9 variants across two sizes and seven colours, from $79.97 for the black 5-quart to $99.97 for the black 6.5-quart. fulfillment names the pickup store and the aisle, which here was H19.
Step 4: Read the reviews
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/walmart/reviews \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"product_id": "5144605607"}'The summary arrives with the first page:
{
"product_id": "5144605607",
"average_rating": 4.6,
"total_review_count": 7596,
"reviews_with_text_count": 1447,
"recommended_percentage": 93,
"rating_breakdown": { "1": 373, "2": 89, "3": 190, "4": 561, "5": 6383 },
"count": 10
}Then reviews[] holds 10 reviews a page with rating, title, text, date and a verified_purchase flag, and top_positive_review and top_negative_review give you Walmart's own pick of each. Pass page and sort to go deeper.
Step 5: See every seller and the buy box
curl -s https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/walmart/offers \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCAVIO_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"product_id": "5144605607"}'Each offer carries seller name and type, whether it is a marketplace seller, price, condition, availability, fulfillment options, Walmart Fulfillment Services (wfs) and is_buy_box_winner. For this air fryer Walmart.com held the buy box at $79.97. On listings with marketplace sellers, pass a seller_id to /api/v1/walmart/seller and /seller-products for the seller's rating, location and whole catalogue.

Frequently asked questions
Does Walmart have an API for product data?
Walmart's developer programs are built for marketplace sellers managing their own listings and for approved partners, not for reading any product's live price, reviews and sellers. Scavio's Walmart API returns that public data as JSON with one API key: search, product detail, reviews, every seller offer, categories, marketplace sellers and stores.
Can I get Walmart prices for a specific store?
Yes. Call /api/v1/walmart/stores with a ZIP code to get nearby store ids, then pass store_id and delivery_zip to search or product. On October 26, 2026, the same gallon of Great Value whole milk was $4.25 at Walmart's Secaucus, NJ store and $2.53 in Chicago. A store-targeted call costs 2 credits.
How do I get Walmart reviews through an API?
Call /api/v1/walmart/reviews with a product id. Each page returns 10 reviews with rating, text, date and verified-purchase flag, plus the product's average rating, total review count, the 1-5 star breakdown, the percentage who recommend it, and the top positive and top negative review.
How much does Walmart data cost with Scavio?
Most Walmart calls cost 1 credit: about $0.002 on the Growth plan billed yearly and $0.0043 on the $30 monthly Project plan. A search or product call targeted at one store costs 2 credits, as does a call against walmart.com.mx. New accounts get 50 free credits with no card.
Can I see every seller on a Walmart product?
Yes. /api/v1/walmart/offers returns every offer on a product with seller name and type, price, condition, availability, fulfillment options and which offer holds the buy box. /api/v1/walmart/seller and /seller-products then give you a marketplace seller's profile and full catalogue.
