Walmart seller lookup
Paste a seller page link, seller ID or product link. See who the seller is, how buyers rate them, and what they sell at what price.
Research any Walmart marketplace seller
Many walmart.com listings are sold by third-party marketplace sellers, and a popular product can have several of them competing for the buy box. Before you price against a seller, partner with one or report one, you want to know who they are: their business name and location, how buyers rate them, and what else they sell.
This lookup puts that on one screen. Paste the seller ID, the storefront link or a product link, and you get the seller profile with its rating breakdown and latest reviews, next to their catalog with prices, ratings and review counts. Marketplace sellers use it to size up competitors, brands to find who is reselling their products, and agencies to vet sellers for clients. To see how one product is priced on Walmart against Amazon, use the Amazon vs Walmart price compare tool.
It runs on the Scavio Walmart API: the seller and seller products endpoints. You get 5 free seller lookups a day, no account. To follow a list of competing sellers, get an API key and run it daily through the API.
How to look up a Walmart seller
- 1
Paste the seller
Paste the seller's storefront link (walmart.com/global/seller/ followed by a number), the numeric seller ID, or the link to a product the seller sells.
- 2
Run the lookup
The lookup loads the seller profile and the storefront catalog in one step. From a product link, it first finds the seller holding the buy box on that listing.
- 3
Read the profile and products
See the seller rating and review count, the star breakdown, location and badges, then the first 20 products with price, rating and review count, and the price range across the catalog.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Walmart seller lookup show?+
For one walmart.com marketplace seller, it shows the storefront name and registered business name, the seller ID, whether the seller has the Pro Seller badge and is active, the city, state and country, the seller rating, review count and 1 to 5 star breakdown, and the latest seller reviews. Below that it lists the seller's products with price, product rating and review count, plus the price range, median price and total product reviews.
How do I find a Walmart seller ID?+
Open the seller's storefront on walmart.com by clicking the seller name on one of their product pages. The seller ID is the number at the end of the link, as in walmart.com/global/seller/101480084. You can paste that link here, the number on its own, or the product link and let the lookup find the seller for you.
Can I look up the seller of a Walmart product?+
Yes. Paste the walmart.com product link and the lookup reads the seller that currently holds the buy box on that listing, then loads that seller's profile and catalog. If the item is sold by Walmart.com itself, there is no marketplace seller to look up and the tool says so.
Why does it ask for the number and not the long seller code?+
Walmart uses two seller identifiers: a numeric seller ID in storefront links, and a 32-character code that appears inside product data. Storefront pages are keyed by the number, so that is what this lookup and the API take. The API response returns both so you can map one to the other.
Is the seller rating the same as the product ratings?+
No. The seller rating is what buyers say about the seller (shipping, packaging, service). Product ratings are per item. On October 20, 2026, JLab (seller 101480084) had a 4.5 seller rating from 2,083 seller reviews, while the 40 of its products returned carried about 120,000 product reviews between them. The lookup shows both side by side.
How many of a seller's products can I see?+
Walmart's storefront loads about the first 40 products of a seller in one page, so the API returns about 40 per seller and reports the full catalog size separately. JLab listed 91 items on October 20, 2026 and the API returned 40 of them. This page shows the first 20 for free; the full JSON is available via the API.
Does it show a seller's address and contact details?+
This page shows the seller's city, state and country. The API response also includes the business address, email and phone that Walmart publishes on the seller's page. When Walmart hides those details for a seller, the API returns them empty as well.
Does it work for Walmart Canada or Walmart Mexico sellers?+
No. The seller lookup covers walmart.com (US) marketplace sellers. Walmart product search and category browse in the Scavio API also cover walmart.ca and walmart.com.mx.
Is it free?+
Yes. You get 5 free seller lookups a day with no account. To keep going, get an API key: 50 free credits on signup, no card required. Through the API a lookup like this costs 2 credits (1 for the profile, 1 for the catalog), or 3 when you start from a product link.
Can I run this from my own code?+
Yes. POST /api/v1/walmart/seller with a seller_id returns the profile, rating, star breakdown and seller reviews (1 credit). POST /api/v1/walmart/seller-products with the same seller_id returns the catalog with price, rating, review count, stock and fulfillment for each product (1 credit). Run it daily through the API to track a competitor's prices and ratings over time.
Track Walmart sellers with the Walmart API
This tool is two calls on the Scavio API. Pull seller profiles and catalogs, product details, every offer on a listing and product reviews as JSON, from your own code, spreadsheets and agents.
