UTM parameters are tags added to URLs to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. They include source, medium, campaign, term, and content.
Only utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign are required. utm_term and utm_content are optional and used for more granular tracking.
UTM parameters should not affect SEO if your site has canonical tags set up correctly. Google typically ignores URL parameters for ranking purposes.
