Why are there no follower counts for the similar accounts?+
Instagram's similar-account list carries the name, username, avatar, verified and private flags, not follower counts. To get followers, call POST /api/v1/instagram/profile for each username you want to keep, at 1 credit per profile.
Why does a brand account return no similar accounts?+
Instagram does not keep a similar-account list for every account. Most creator accounts have one, while some large brand accounts have none. If that happens, start from a creator in the same niche or a smaller competitor instead.
What do the verified and private flags mean?+
Verified accounts carry Instagram's blue check, which helps separate established names from smaller creators. Private accounts are marked with a lock because their posts are not public, so you cannot review their content or engagement before reaching out.
How do I check if a lookalike creator is worth working with?+
