A free Google Trends explorer

Google Trends is the go-to source for understanding what people search for and when. This tool gives you the same data in a quick visual — no account, no spreadsheet download, no navigating Google's own interface.

Use it for keyword research, content planning, competitive analysis, or to validate whether a product or topic is gaining or losing interest. The underlying data powers the same chart you would see on trends.google.com.

Frequently asked questions

What does Google Trends measure?+

Google Trends shows relative search interest for a keyword over time. A value of 100 means peak popularity during the selected period, 50 means half that peak, and 0 means not enough data.

Is the data real-time?+

By default the tool returns the past 12 months of data. The most recent data point is typically 1-2 days old. For real-time trending searches, use the Google Trending endpoint.

Is it free?+

Yes — you get 5 free trend lookups a day with no account. Sign up free to keep exploring trends on your own Scavio credits.

What are rising related queries?+

Rising queries are search terms whose volume has grown significantly alongside your keyword. They often indicate emerging subtopics, new products, or shifting user intent.

Can I filter by country?+

The free tool shows worldwide data. The API endpoint supports a geo parameter (e.g. US, GB, DE) to filter by country or region.

Can I compare multiple keywords?+

This tool handles one keyword at a time. To compare up to 5 keywords on one shared scale, send them comma-separated to the Scavio Google Trends API (POST /api/v2/google/trends).

Can I use this from code?+

Yes. The same endpoint is available as POST /api/v2/google/trends. Pass a query and an optional geo and date range to get the timeline and interest by region. Set data_type to RELATED_QUERIES to get rising and top related searches.

How is this different from Google Trends?+

The underlying data is the same. This tool gives you a quick visual and the raw data via an API, so you can integrate trend data into your own applications, dashboards, or research workflows.

What does the chart show?+

The chart shows interest over time on a 0-100 relative scale. It is an inline SVG rendered in your browser — no external charting library or tracking is loaded.

Can I export the data?+

The free tool shows the chart visually. To get the raw JSON data points for export or analysis, use the API endpoint directly.
