Where your store ranks

Type a keyword and your store. See every position you hold, your best rank and how your price compares with the page. 5 free rank checks a day, no account.

POST /api/v2/google/shoppingSame engine, for your code

Check your Google Shopping rank for any keyword

Knowing your products show on Google Shopping is not the same as knowing where they sit on the page next to everyone else selling the same thing. This tool runs the search a shopper would run, finds every listing from your store on the first page of Google Shopping results, and gives you the best position, the full list of positions and the stores ranking above you.

Ecommerce brands use it to see whether a product feed change moved them up for the keywords that sell. Agencies use it to report Shopping visibility for clients and to show which competitors hold the top spots. The price comparison tells you whether you rank while sitting above or below the page median, which is often the first thing to check when a listing drops.

The check is one call on the Scavio API. To track rank for a whole keyword list every day, call the same endpoint from your own code: see everything the Google Shopping API returns, including price filters, product pages with specs and the full seller list for any product.

How to check where your store ranks on Google Shopping

  1. 1

    Type the keyword shoppers use

Enter the search a buyer would type into Google Shopping, for example running shoes or wireless earbuds, and pick the country you sell in.

  2. 2

Add your store name or domain

Type your store the way Google shows it, such as Foot Locker, or your domain, such as footlocker.com. Marketplace sellers can type their seller name.

  3. 3

    Read your positions and price

See your best rank, every position your store holds on the first results page, your price against the page median and lowest, and the top 10 results with store, price and rating.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Google Shopping rank checker show?+

For one keyword and country: your best position, every position your store holds on the first page of Google Shopping results, the price of your best-ranked listing against the median and lowest price on the page, and the top 10 results with product title, store, price, rating and review count.

How does it find my store in the results?+

Each Google Shopping result names the store that sells it. The tool matches what you type against that store name, ignoring case, spaces and punctuation. A domain like footlocker.com also matches a result shown as Foot Locker. Marketplace listings show as the marketplace plus the seller, for example eBay - seller name, so you can match the whole marketplace or one seller. When a result groups several stores, it counts as yours only if your store is the one Google names on it.

How many results does one check cover?+

The first page of Google Shopping results for the keyword, up to 40 products. If your store is not in them, the tool says so and still shows the top 10, so you can see who holds the spots you want.

Why is my rank different from what I see in my browser?+

Google Shopping results move with location, search history and time of day, and the products on a page change often. The check runs a neutral search with no personal history in the country you pick, which is closer to what a new shopper sees than your own signed-in browser. Run the same keyword a few times over a week before reading much into a single move.

How is my price compared with the page?+

Your price is the price on your best-ranked listing. The tool compares it with the median and the lowest price across every product on the first page, and tells you how many products on the page are cheaper. The page mixes different models, so treat it as where you sit in the result set, not a like-for-like price check.

How is this different from the Google Shopping price checker?+

This tool starts from a keyword and tells you where your store ranks among all the products shown. The Google Shopping price checker starts from one product and lists every store selling it, with a MAP check. Use the rank checker for visibility and the price checker for reseller pricing.

Which countries can I check?+

The US, the UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France and India. Prices come back in the local currency of the Google Shopping country you pick.

Is it free?+

Yes. You get 5 free rank checks a day with no account. For more, get an API key: 50 free credits on signup, no card required.

Can I track my Google Shopping rank every day?+

This page is a one-off check. To track rank over time, run the same call through the API from a cron job, n8n, Make or Zapier and store each day's positions in a sheet or database. One check is 1 credit, so the Project plan at $24 a month billed yearly (7,000 credits) covers about 7,000 keyword checks a month. The full JSON for all results on the page is available via the API.

Can I use this in my own code?+

Yes. POST /api/v2/google/shopping with { "query": "running shoes", "gl": "us" } returns shopping_results, where each item has position, title, source (the store), price, extracted_price, rating and reviews. Match source against your store to get your rank, and follow pagination.next to load the next page. Each call costs 1 credit.
