Does AI recommend
your brand?
Ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overview the question your buyers ask, and see whether you are in the answer, where you rank, and which sources each one cites.
Check your brand's visibility in AI answers
More buyers now ask an AI assistant for a shortlist before they ever search. If ChatGPT recommends three competitors and not you, that buyer may never see your site. This tool shows you the answer they get, for the exact question they ask.
Each check runs one question through three engines at once. You see whether your brand is mentioned, your rank among the options the answer lists, a quote of the first mention, and the pages each engine cited, with your own site flagged when it is one of them. Those cited pages are the clearest map of where to earn coverage next.
To run the same checks from your own code, use the ChatGPT API, the Gemini API and the Google AI Mode API.
How to check if ChatGPT mentions your brand
- 1
Enter your brand
Type your brand name or your domain, e.g. pipedrive.com. A domain also lets the tool spot when your own site is cited as a source.
- 2
Enter a buyer question
Write the question a buyer would ask an AI assistant before choosing a product like yours, e.g. 'best CRM for small agencies'.
- 3
Read the three answers
The same question goes to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overview. For each you see whether you are mentioned, where you rank among the options, and which sources it cited.
Frequently asked questions
What does the AI visibility checker measure?+
For one buyer question, it checks three AI answers: ChatGPT, Gemini and the Google AI Overview. For each one it reports whether your brand is mentioned, how many times, your position among the options the answer recommends, a quote of the first mention, and the sources the answer cites, with your own site flagged when it appears.
How is the position calculated?+
When an answer recommends products, your position is your rank in that product list. When it presents a numbered or bulleted list of options, your position is your rank in that list. If you are named only in running text, the tool tells you which paragraph mentions you instead of inventing a rank.
Is it free?+
Yes. You get 5 free visibility checks a day with no account. Sign up free to run more checks on your own Scavio credits and to track your prompts on a schedule.
Why do ChatGPT and Gemini give different answers?+
Each assistant runs its own web searches, reads different pages and has its own way of ranking options. That is why visibility has to be checked per assistant: being recommended by one says little about the others.
Why does Google sometimes show no AI Overview?+
Google only shows an AI Overview for some queries, and that can change from day to day. When none is shown for your question, the tool says so rather than counting it as a miss.
Are the answers live?+
Yes. Every check sends your question to each engine at that moment, so you see the answer a buyer would get right now, in the United States by default.
How do I get my brand mentioned more often?+
Look at the sources each answer cites. Those pages are what the assistant read before answering. Getting listed, reviewed or compared on them, and publishing clear pages that answer the same question, is the most direct way to show up in future answers.
Can I track many prompts over time?+
Yes. A free account includes a tracker for your Google AI Overview citations. For ChatGPT and Gemini, run any number of prompts on a schedule from your own code with POST /api/v1/chatgpt/prompt and POST /api/v1/gemini/prompt.
What does a check cost through the API?+
On your own credits, a ChatGPT answer costs 2 credits, a Gemini answer 5 credits and a Google search with its AI Overview 1 credit. Prompts that fail to return an answer are not charged.
Do you store my brand or questions?+
No. The brand and question are used to run the check and are not saved to an account or shared.
Track AI answers with the API
This tool is three endpoints on the Scavio API. Run your buyer prompts through ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews from your own code and track mentions over time.
