What is OpenWebUI?

Self-hosted ChatGPT-style interface that runs on top of Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible backend. Drop Scavio in as a tool plugin so every local chat can ground answers in live Google, YouTube, and Amazon results.

How It Works

Scavio connects to OpenWebUI via a plugin. Once connected, your OpenWebUI agent can search Google, Amazon, YouTube, and Walmart in real time. Each search returns structured JSON -- no HTML parsing, no scraping infrastructure.

Setup

Bash
# Install Scavio tool from Open WebUI Functions, add SCAVIO_API_KEY

Code Example

Here is a complete OpenWebUI integration with Scavio:

Python
# Generic HTTP integration for OpenWebUI
# Use your framework's HTTP request tool to call:
# POST https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/search
# Header: x-api-key: your_scavio_api_key
# Body: {"query": "your search query"}

Full Working Example

A production-ready example with error handling:
