What is Cursor Agent?
Cursor IDE's agent mode with MCP server support. Drop Scavio's MCP endpoint into .cursor/mcp.json and every agent gets real-time Google, Amazon, YouTube, Walmart, and Reddit search.
Searching Amazon Bestsellers with Cursor Agent
This integration lets your Cursor Agent agent search Amazon Bestsellers in real time via the Scavio API. The agent gets back structured JSON with products, badge, sales_volume, price -- ready for reasoning and decision-making.
Setup
# Add Scavio MCP server to .cursor/mcp.jsonCode Example
Here is a complete Cursor Agent agent that searches Amazon Bestsellers using Scavio:
# Generic HTTP integration for Cursor Agent
# Point your framework's HTTP request tool at:
#
# POST https://api.scavio.dev/api/v1/amazon/search
# Authorization: Bearer sk_live_your_key
# Content-Type: application/json
# {"query":"your search query","country":"us"}
#
# Rows come back under data.products.
#
# There is no bestsellers endpoint and Amazon search takes no sort parameter, so this is the marketplace's default ranking for the query, not the Best Sellers chart. Store position per ASIN on each run to see movement.
