Searching Google Scholar with Aider
This integration lets your Aider agent search Google Scholar in real time via the Scavio API. The agent gets back structured JSON with paper titles, paper URLs, SERP snippets -- ready for reasoning and decision-making.
Setup
pip install aider-chatCode Example
Here is a complete Aider agent that searches Google Scholar using Scavio:
# Generic HTTP integration for Aider
# Point your framework's HTTP request tool at:
#
# POST https://api.scavio.dev/api/v2/google
# Authorization: Bearer sk_live_your_key
# Content-Type: application/json
# {"query":"your search query"}
#
# Rows come back under organic_results.
#
# Scavio has no Google Scholar endpoint, so citation counts and author lists are not available. This runs a Google web search - narrow it with site:arxiv.org or filetype:pdf.
