Definition
A skillset is a collection of Claude Skills packaged so that an engineer installs them as a group and every Claude Code or Claude Desktop session on the team shares the same tool surface. Skillsets are the 2026 equivalent of dotfiles for AI workflows.
In Depth
Individual Claude Skills ship under ~/.claude/skills as standalone capabilities. A skillset ties several skills together with shared configuration, secret management, and update policy, so a GTM engineering team can onboard a new teammate by installing one skillset instead of five separate skills. Scavio ships as a single skill that often acts as the search backbone for broader GTM or SEO skillsets.
Example Usage
The GTM team published a gtm-skillset repo with four Claude Skills preconfigured to call Scavio and HubSpot.
